Today we are hold up in our rig with 30-60 mph winds swirling around us. Our rig is rocking and swaying. The wind gusts and blowing dust make it very difficult to be outside. What to do? Write a blog post.
If a picture is worth a thousand words, then consider this a 10,000+ word post. We were thrilled to hike the Wildcat Trail in the Monument Valley Tribal Park yesterday. This area of Utah belongs to the Navaho Nation. The 3.75 mile trail wound its way between the east and west Mitten monuments. The depth of the red in the sand and soil was stunning; we brought some of the color with us back to the rig on our shoes. God’s majesty, creativity and glory were on full display! Skip took several of these shots. He has a great eye for photography.

Tomorrow we travel to Page, Arizona to Lake Powell where we will see the magnificent Antelope Canyons and Horseshoe Bend!
What a beautiful sight to behold
Beautiful. So happy for you both. Enjoy.
The western United States is so majestic in its appearance. The wide open spaces, the colors, the panoramic views are breathtaking.
You are so right, Sandra! We are in awe!
So beautiful! Love it all!
God is so incredibly talented!❤️
All I can say is Wow! (and I would like to say it 10,000 times!)
Good job on the photos…both of you. What a different world it is there. The colors are so clear and vibrant. Those winds are such a problem. Seems like the world is getting more & more windy. Everywhere. Any snakes or wildlife? Is it hot? So glad we can stay in touch this way. The canyons are out of this world Enjoy. Blessings. Love you. Rox
Thanks for your kind words, Rox. We love taking the photos. The wind is very challenging. Just today, our hiking plans were thwarted due to high gusts.
Spectacular! I’m anxious to see and hear more!
