While we are enjoying marvelous adventures, we also are pushing through many miles with our rig and pickup. Adding a little spirit helps. Here are three fun examples to share.
When you hear “Wilson! Wilson!” what comes to mind? Per chance Tom Hanks in the movie Castaway? Meet our “Wilson.” We picked him up on our first night of travel at a pumpkin stand next to the Aspire Ranch in Wisconsin. Wilson has traveled with us lo these many miles. When we are en route, he rests comfortably in the recliner. When we are parked, he joins us at the dinner table.

Just recently, we were introduced to a song called My House by Kacey Musgraves on her album Same Trailer, Different Park. I truly hope you’ll take a listen. It’s a hoot and a half and perfect for RV life. It’s our newly adopted travel song. It’s a great way to start the day as our diesel one ton pickup kicks into gear.
And finally, another kind of spirit. Here’s Skip enjoying some craft whiskey at the Orange County Distillery where we stayed last night. It’s a barn turned distillery. We had lovely views all around us.

Now onto Gettysburg for some history lessons!

Looks delightful! I hope Wilson remains a good travel companion…and Skip too 🙂
Love it all! God speed!
Diggin’ on Wilson! Love the song. Isn’t Gettysburg fabulous? Keep on trucking’ and sending these wonderful blogs – we are really enjoying them and they allow us some armchair traveling!!
That song is perfect. And hysterical. We will adopt it too! Thanks, and travel well. You’re going to go through some beautiful country.
Continuing to love your blog with your travel descriptions, pictures , and our chance to travel with you that way… Looks like Wilson is enjoying the trip. So happy to hear that you have enjoyed Foyle’s adventures too. You are giving Rick Steve some great competition!
Thanks for sharing! That song is fun!!!
So glad Skip has a designated driver if needed!
