Our Bags Are Packed…

Posted on March 2, 2022March 2, 2022

… we’re ready to go… Wait, what? Skip and I keep asking each other, “Why exactly are we going back to Minnesota, returning to cold and snow?” Today in Tucson, the sky is a glorious blue with an 84 degree high; that’s hard to beat. Nonetheless, we are homeward bound in just a couple of hours.

We’ve loved our time exploring this marvelous city. We’ve enjoyed so many wonderful adventures. Posting pictures is the best way I can think of to share our joy and gratitude for the privilege of traveling to Tucson. Here are just a few favorites.

A challenging hike in Pima Canyon
Beautiful reflecting pool in Sabino Canyon
Our favorite hike: Linda Vista Loop Trail
Bucking Broncos at the Tucson Rodeo
Team calf roping at the Tucson Rodeo
Windy Point Vista on Mt. Lemmon
Thimble Peak Vista on Mt. Lemmon
More scenic views on Mt. Lemmon
Hoodoo Vista Point on the road to Mt. Lemmon
A crazy climber atop the same hoodoo
Eggs Benedict at the Baha Café
I chose the Snickerdoodle pancake. Yum!
We visited the Biosphere 2. Very strange but interesting place.
Farewell to our home away from home along the Pusch Ridge of the Santa Catalina Mountains in Tucson.

We’ve experienced such beauty and loads of fun in Tucson. We hope you’ve been blessed in flowing our blog!

We’ll be back in Minnesota for a few weeks, then we will begin our next great adventure, traveling through New Mexico, the magnificent national parks in Utah, then on to Colorado where we’ll serve with the SOWER ministry at the Navigator’s Glen Eyrie castle. Our posts will resume in late April. Sure hope you’ll come along for the ride!

Safe travels! Love the pictures! Weather isn’t everything and home is where the heart is. We visited the biosphere about 24 years ago and I still remember it vividly. Quite an experiment. See you very soon!

You should be paid by their Chamber of Commerce; your photos are so wonderful . There are some strange rock formations that you showed in your pic’s. Skip’s eggs-ben… look delicious. God guide your trip home where white snow is also beautiful.

I finally got caught up on your blog. Love every minute of it. The hikes look inviting and that pancake looks like some serious fun! Glad to see you for a few weeks and then waiting to visually come on your next adventure.
